Description:
Antenna is a full size 20 element wide spaced computer optimized yagi designed for weak signal communications on the lower end of the 2 meter band. Has machined aluminum connection box as the core of the antenna feed system. This box is easily sealed and opened if something needs work or repair in the future yet it is extremely rugged and provides excellent shielding and protection from the elements for the internal connections. To give our antennas a little better bandwidth SWR, we always make the driven element a larger diameter. This model has a 1/4" dia. driven element and T match rods. Other elements are 3/16" dia. , all elements are solid rods. Aluminum members are 6063 and 6061 for best corrosion resistance. All hardware except U-Bolts (which are zinc coated) is stainless steel. Uses a 4:1 coaxal balun which allows the balanced feed of the antenna to be fed with 50 Ohm unbalanced coaxial cable and uses superior T match system for best radiation pattern and good matching.

Additional features of this great antenna include a double boom to mast plate which uses 4 V clamps and these clamps are spread over a greater distance. 4 clamps around the mast will result in greater holding power against the twisting forces preventing the antenna from turning and becoming out of sync with the rotor.
