Description:
Full size 2 meter vertical dipole which uses our T match and CNC machined housing for internal connections just as on our yagis. SWR is fully adjustable. Has many advantages over similiar vertical antennas such as ground planes and J poles. Does not require radials and therefor can be mounted in many more enviornments, nicer to look at, more stealthy and easily stacked for more gain and flatter radiation pattern. Comes with boom to mast plate and V clamps which allow mounting to tower legs as well as a mast.
Antenna uses a T match which is a feed device which allows feeding a balanced device such as a dipole with unbalanced transmission line such as coaxial cable. The T match on this antenna uses a coaxial balun which prevents common mode currents from causing radiation from the transmission line (your coaxial cable). The system only radiates from the antenna and not the transmission line as well.
Provides continuous coverage from 144 to 165 mhz with highest swr point of 1:6 to 1 and lowest of 1:0 to 1 with almost identical radiation pattern from one end to the other end of freq. range.
