Description:
This heavy duty cross boom was designed to stack VHF and UHF yagis
side by side for increased gain. The purpose of the Fiberglass
channels is to prevent any metal from existing in the plane of
the horizontal elements of horizontally mounted yagis. The unit
as shown has a seperation distance of 109" from boom center
line to boom (of the yagi) center line. This distance is the optimal
space for stacking two of our 11x11 2 meter cross polarity yagis.
The boom can be easily adjusted to other lengths by cutting the
aluminum square piece shorter and then redrilling the set of holes
on the cut end. We can do this here at no extracharge if the customer
sends their dimensions.
This unit can also be used for making up dual band systems.
