This is designed for satellite operation and has circular polarization. Given it's high gain it will work as a terrestrial antenna as well as a small EME antenna. Both sets of elements optimized in satellite band. Unit is supplied with phasing lines and T connector. Typical vswr in satellite band with phasing lines connected, 1:0 to 1 in other words flat. All connections use high quality type N connectors. Constructed of the finest materials, 6061 corrosion resistant aluminum. Elements are 3/16" dia. except for the driven element which is 1/4" dia. (solid rods). Uses superior T match system and coaxial teflon baluns for 50 ohm balanced load. Unit is CAD designed for the mechanical structure and computer optimized for electrical characteristics.These antennas are constructed with the utmost precision. All hardware is stainless steel except the U bolts which are zinc plated. With ultra rugged construction, antenna is designed to last indefinately while giving superior performance.
